More than 435 businesses and organizations belong to the Chamber to receive benefits and support efforts to strengthen their businesses and the region. Increased membership allows the Chamber to offer additional programs and benefits, have a stronger voice in advocacy and be involved in more activities and initiatives. The Chamber welcomes Bloomsburg Volunteer Ambulance Association.
Bloomsburg Volunteer Ambulance Association was established in 1957. Operated by volunteer providers, they have 3 Ambulance units that serve Bloomsburg, Espy, Catawissa, Numidia, Buckhorn, and surrounding municipalities. These units include MICU 61, Ambulance 62, and Ambulance 63. They respond to emergency calls dispatched by the East Central Emergency Network, which is the 911 center for Columbia and Montour County.
